Built Here is a curated launch platform where makers can submit, discover, and promote digital products. We provide both free and premium launch options, allowing makers to showcase their products to our community.

3. Account Registration

To submit products or vote, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You may not create multiple accounts to manipulate votes, circumvent restrictions, or for any fraudulent purpose.

4. User Content

When you submit content (including product information, logos, and descriptions), you:

• Retain ownership of your content
• Grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content on our platform and marketing channels
• Warrant that you have the right to submit such content
• Warrant that your content does not infringe any third-party rights

5. Prohibited Content

You may not submit products or content that:

• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringes intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Promotes illegal activities, gambling, or adult content
• Distributes copyrighted content without authorization (including IPTV or streaming services)
• Involves counterfeit goods, weapons, or controlled substances
• Contains false, misleading, or deceptive information
• Constitutes spam, scams, or fraudulent schemes
• Harasses, threatens, or discriminates against others

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our policies.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Manipulate votes or rankings through fake accounts or automated means
• Submit false or misleading product information
• Circumvent our review process or fraud prevention measures
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from our platform without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our services
• Use our platform to send unsolicited communications

7. Launch Services

Free Launches: Products submitted for free launch enter our queue and are published when a slot becomes available. Free launches include a nofollow link to your product.

Premium Launches: Premium launches allow you to select your launch date and include a dofollow link plus a premium badge. Premium launch dates are subject to availability and our approval process.

8. Review and Approval

All product submissions are subject to our review and approval. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any submission at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to provide reasons for rejection, though we will endeavor to provide feedback when possible.

9. Payments and Refunds

For premium services, the following terms apply:

• Prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes
• Payment is required before your premium launch date is confirmed
• Refunds are available if we are unable to accommodate your requested launch date or if your product is rejected after payment
• No refunds are provided after your product has been successfully launched
• We do not guarantee specific results, traffic, or outcomes from launching on our platform

10. Intellectual Property

The Built Here name, logo, website design, and original content are our intellectual property and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or legality of products submitted by users.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Built Here shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Built Here and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your content, or your violation of these terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately, though previously published products may remain visible.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands and applicable European Union law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
